Why I want to tutor: In my four year college experience I have come to understand the distinction between what motivates and doesn't motivate one's willingness to learn. I want to share this understanding with others by helping each person I tutor develop a learning strategy that is efficient and helpful for them. That way difficult subjects in the STEM fields can be perceived as more manageable rather than overbearing. I am currently entering my Senior year at Christopher Newport University looking to provide assistance in the learning process. I enjoy hiking, playing/listening to music, and reading to pass the time. I also, in general love being outside.
